She is incredibly sweet and loving. She's a total love dog.  She is very loyal,  happy and playful.  Understands commands 'no' and 'come'.   Easily trainable.  Gets along well with people and other dogs.  She's housebroken and sleeps through the night in her own area.  She understands that she is not allowed on the bed but would love to be there.   

She doesn't yap at all and the only time we have heard her whine is when we leave her in her cage or she can't climb a tree to reach a squirrel.

She does get afraid in large crowds and does not respond well if she is approached aggressively.  She used to growl at strangers but she is being trained not to do that and the growling has pretty much stopped.  But, she does get nervous in some situations.  We have not yet determined if she can get used to being around children as they can be unknowingly aggressive towards her.


She would do well being with another dog and people who want to walk her regularly.   A yard would be great so she has a chance to run free.  She is cage trained for short periods of time (an hour or two).  She would not be a happy dog if she was left alone for long periods of time.
