  RAINBOW BRIDGE

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Bella
Bella was the most beloved Siamese mix her foster ever has met. She had a horrible skin allergy, which lead to a year of medical attention. She found as a kitten with a little flea collar on and was thought to have been cared for by a homeless man. Bella lived with her foster in her office and Bella in her motherly way while being medicated for her own issues helped other cats heal. She was adopted by a wonderful woman who LOVED her till her last breath. She was loved!

Sophia AKA Moo
Sophia was given up to A.R.F. by an elderly woman moving to Ga with her son who didn't want a cat. Sophia became our office cat and whenever anybody would sit in the reception desk chair she became the lap cat. Sophia had hyperthyroid disease the last year of her life, but it did not slow her down. She had a true zest for life! She will always remain in the volunteers hearts! 5/24/18

Angel
Angel lived at our adoption center for two years after just a quick adoption where she was not happy, and came back to us. Angel knew she was loved and was a favorite of all the volunteers. We all miss this sweet girl very much. 10/18/17

Max
Max was very loveable and will be sorely missed by his foster family. R.I.P. little guy. We wish you could have been with us longer. 4-25-17

Kahlua
We're glad we could give you love for your last days sweet girl. You will not be forgotten. "If I had a flower for every time I thought of you...I could walk through my garden forever." - Alfred Lord Tennyson 3/14/17
