Cookie is a good, snuggly dog.  It's hard to see that from outside her kennel door, but once you get her outside of the kennel, you'll see her shine.  We had her out at one of our events last month, and she was very happy and sweet.  She likes to give kisses.  She is an attractive girl and resembles a pit bull, but also resembles a hound, and you can hear a bit of a bay in her bark.  Cookie is now 100% rescue dog-to-be!  Cookie was found as a stray.  She's an attentive girl.  Cookie has a small scar on her back that indicates she may have been intentionally burned.  She is reported as house-broken in the kennel, but had an accident upon transport, so she may be just not so familiar with traveling by car.  Cookie likes to play with toys and she's the perfect size at just under 50#. 

Cookie is spayed, current on her vaccines, and micro-chipped.  Unfortunately, she tested positive for heartworm, but the good news is she's a Healing Hearts dog, so her treatment is sponsored.  It was FREE in January (included with her adoption), and now will range from FREE to $60 to $150 at most.  Her treatment will require several more trips to our county shelter, but Cookie is worth it!  Cookie is not in our care, so please do not call or e-mail A.R.F. about Cookie.  She is at our county shelter at 7100 Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach, and has been there since 12/13/2021.  Cookie is known by her ID#A2087191.  You can call (561) 233-1200 for more information.
