Adoption Shuttle Site-- Adoptions, Collections, Advertising. This is our largest annual fund raising and adoption event. Animal Rescue Force of South Florida, Inc. will be operating four (4) parking lots outside of the main event. We will be charging a fee for parking and will be directing traffic in our parking lots. Tents will be set up between the two (2) lots for adoptions, sales of merchandise and advertising. The two (2) main parking lots owned by the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency are located on NW 1st Avenue (behind Duncan Donuts) 1/2 block north of Atlantic Avenue. The Adoption Shuttle will be parked along the street across from these parking lots. The other two (2) lots owned by Michael Weiner, PA are located on NW 1st Street between NW 1st Avenue and Swinton Avenue. In addition, we will be operating a dog cooling station inside the event at our booth provided by the Delray Affair staff. The booth is located at 301 E. Atlantic Avenue (by the railroad tracks). We are not permitted to bring any of our animals into the event. At the cooling station, we will be providing water for the dogs that have been brought into the event by their owners. Our volunteers will be distributing animal care information, collecting and advertising our organization. We owe a great deal of gratitude to the Delray Beach CRA and the offices of Michael Weiner, PA for the use of their parking lots. The City of Delray Beach is providing our barricades, cones and signage. These caring people have opened up their hearts to us, and for that we will be forever grateful. If you care about saving animals and want to insure the future of this organization--plan on volunteering.

1st Annual Cinco de Mayo Chihuahua Race

Cinco de Mayo is a huge event celebrated at Old School Square in Delray Beach. Admission into the event is $10. There is entertainment for the entire family. This year Animal Rescue Force of South Florida, Inc. is co-sponsoring the 1st Annual Chihuahua Race and crowning of the Cinco de Mayo King and Queen Chihuahua 2007. The race will begin at 4:00 PM. All contestants must be full bred Chihuahuas. The pre-registation fee will be $10 or $15 the day of the event One (1) free admission into the Cinco de Mayo event will be provided with each registration. Registration the day of the event will take place between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. All participants (including those pre-registered) MUST check in at the Chihuahua Registration Tent near the entry gate to receive a contestant number ahd obtain the admission armband. Prizes will be awarded to the the winning male and female Chiwahuahuas. THE APPLICATION AND RULES FOR THE EVENT ARE POSTED ON THIS WEBSITE.Click onto "Forms/Applications" and follow the directions.
