It seemed Rocky, now affectionately called Little Boy Blue ("Blue") was destined to be a barn cat after having at least three owners and being rescued from a shelter where they asked the A.R.F. volunteer who went to retrieve him, "Are you sure you want this one?"  "He deserves a chance," she said as she carried of the swatting, growling cat in the carrier.  Love is what he needed!  Turns out, he's just a scaredy cat afterall.  Not wanting him to have to live at a barn somewhere, the A.R.F. volunteer asked a true cat loving friend if she would give him a shot.  Blue is now on his way to Missouri, where he'll live in an over 100 year old house with four other cats.  Thanks so much for all you PetSmart cat room volunteers that tolerated his scary behavior, without a complaint, giving him the time he needed to find his final home!

I am a big beautiful boy.  I am a real lover boy, and very charming, although at times, I must admit, I can be a bit crabby.  I was fostered with a large gentle dog and I was ok with that, but I probably would not like a dog that wants me to be his best bud.   I have been fostered with a cat who adores me, and I will tolerate another cat if it is nice to me as she is.  Since I spent time outdoors over the years, and enjoy the feel of the sun on my back, I would really love a home with a screened porch.  I am now taking a break with my foster family.
