Selene is a beautiful kitty with a striking coat that is mixed with chesnut patches.  She hails from the mountains of Barranquitas, Puerto Rico, and came to A.R.F. shortly after Hurricane Fiona passed through both her old home and Hurricane Ian her new home! She is sweet yet spunky, utterly adorable, gentle, and adventurous. This curious-yet-chill kitten loves both people and fellow cat mates (shown below with Angelo who flew to a rescue in Chicago!). She is both independent and a team player; she would thrive with other cats of all ages as well as children. Selene is very social and cuddly, likes to be held, and will sleep alongside you at night (she may even nibble your toe!). When you are going to leave the house, she knows... and will lay in front of the door to change your mind.
Her favorite activity is turning the touch kitchen water faucet on with her nose or paw.  She would be thrilled to have a safe, enclosed patio to watch the world outside and chase lizards; she comes from warm weather climate afterall! Her foster parents cherished every day with her (and were very close to adopting, but they love fostering so much), and you will love her, too!! She's simply perfect and will spoil you with her cuteness.
