Caramel is a sweet boy and so handsome!  His owner passed away unexpectedly and his family could not find a way to get him and pal Frankie up to NY.  A.R.F. wanted to help this duo get a wonderful home in honor of their beloved owner.  They lived with two parakeets too!  Caramel's back was shaved at the county shelter due to it being matted, and he unable to groom himself there due to his size, but the hair is growing back in. Their owner permitted them to eat all they wanted, so they got rather large and need an owner that will help them get back to a weight that is better suited for a cat.  (Caramel has already lost over two pounds!)  Caramel is a little shy, so he would be happiest in a quiet home.  Caramel likes Frankie more than she him (likely he knew her as a kitten), and he can bully her, so we feel it would be ok to separate them.  Frankie now has a wonderful home!  Please call (561) 784-4792 for more information or to arrange to meet sweet and charming Caramel.  You can also apply on-line (link is under Caramel's photo) at www.animalrescueforce.org and a volunteer will get back to you.
