Scrunch was taken in as a little kitten by a loving family.  Even after three years together, the female cat of the house refused to accept him and constantly attacked him, so that he only hid when she was around.  His family loved him dearly, but knew he deserved better.  A.R.F. assured them, they could find him a good home where he could relax.
Scrunch is a total cuddle bug that will purr and purr, and roll, and walk all over you and rub himself on you. He likes to self pet: extend a paw, and he will rub against you. When he is very comfortable, he will lay upside down and show his big belly with his long legs and big feet hanging off of the couch. His paws are big, and they look like he is wearing clown shoes. He sometimes makes an inquisitive chirping noise that his family called his Tiger Roar.  Scrunch  speaks from time to time.  He loves playing with springs, and strings, and soft toys, but nothing with a loud noise.
When he was little, he would pick up a piece of food, put it on the floor, and then "hunt" it. It was hilarious to see him running around swatting his food before he "caught it".  He now sometimes he takes food out of the bowl and puts in on the floor and "hunts" it. He really is darling and funny.  He likes to sleep snuggled up tightly against a leg or a hip. He would be ideal in a single-cat family, or a home with another very friendly and loving animal.  If you rub your fingers together, he will usually come for pets. He reacts well to that soft sound, and to gentle voices.
