Barney has been a very fortunate little kitten. He was found in a hole in the ground, tiny and hungry, at 3-4 weeks of age. His tail had abrasions and lost fur where he apparently was caught by something. His rescuer contacted a friend of ARF for help with the little orphan, and he was transferred to our care. After initial hissing and spitting, he settled down to become a favorite in the household, always into something and believing himself to be the Most Important Person in the house. His tail scar has healed to invisibility except for a few white hairs to remind him of his close call. He loves to tussle with his foster brothers and sister and is respectful of the older cats in the house. He enjoys watching You Tube and Star Trek and assists with knitting (ha!). He specializes in reaching out with one precise paw and erasing the epic novel you've just written on the laptop. He has a great purr motor and is always ready to play!
