Mabel is an adorable cat! She has unique chesnut patches in her coat. She was placed in a large box with seven other cats and put in front of a woman's home. Imagine the woman's surprise! Mabel caught a cold at our county shelter where she and the others were taken, and her time was up as the sick ward became full! No one else was going to give her that chance, such a young cat, so A.R.F. did. Mabel swiftly recovered and is ready for her new home.
She's a gentle girl and she truly is "lovable" and "dear" as are the origins of her name Mabel. Mabel hardly sheds at all and is a light eater, so her weight is easy to manage.
