Update: We are happy to report that MiMi went to another rescue in New Hampshire and was adopted less than a month later!
Mimi is a sweet and loving dog. She was even featured on the cover of a magazine! MiMi traveled well to one of events last year, and was quiet traveling, and at the event. Mimi did not appear interested in dogs at the event we took her to, and even was in "play group" at the shelter, but needs to be the only dog in the home as she likes to keep her toys and her food to herself. She is reportedly good with kids and cats, but we recommend only older kids, and are not so sure to trust her with cats. Please consider rescuing MiMi from our county shelter and help to get the word out that she needs adopted. Her time is running out now. She's in a foster home with a foster from the county shelter right now. Her animal ID# is A2047669. The shelter is located at 7100 Belvedere Road in West Palm Beach, about a quarter mile west of Jog Road on the south side. You can call ahead to see how to meet/adopt her at (561) 233-1200, and refer to her A#. The shelter may have a free adoption special, otherwise dog adoptions are generally just $60.
