Duke was rescued from a high kill shelter when his time was up.  He is super sweet and loves to play ball.  He would be best in a home without small children due to his exuberance.  He is very smart and has learned basic commands.  


He is very cute and we don't know what mixture he is. He has the personality of a golden and loves to retrieve.  He sheds very little and his hair is like a terrier. There is also a possibility he might be related to a breed called Berger Picard which is what was in the movie Because of Winn Dixie.
