Rose is a great success story.  She was found as a stray and is heartworm positive.  She had been taken to several of our events.  Then, at the Animal Adoption Fair, a lovely woman and her daughter fell in love.  They didn't mind that Rose needs to be taken in for complementary treatments of her heartworm thanks to the Healing Hearts program.  The daughter is excited to have Rose as her running buddy, and Rose will also get a lot of love from the family's son, the senior male pit bull named Beau, and two cats that are wary, but will learn how sweet Rose is in time.  We wish them many great years together!
