A dog cannot get any sweeter than this girl: docile, gentle, loving; on the timid side, but that could just be how sweet she is. Ava is soft spoken, and very sensitive and requires someone in tune with that.  She is exploding with love and is truly a special dog.   With me, her foster mom, she has never been anything, but gentle, sweet and loving.  She is eager to please and follows guidance rather quickly. She needs a quiet, peaceful home, with another dog, or as a solo.  She is good with small dogs, or dogs of equal size.  Not so good with cats, very curious and likely to hurt, but not intentionally.  She does great with other dogs, and great with a 'job' to do. 

She does excellent with most small dogs.. incredibly with small males... she comes alive and starts to dance... perhaps because she doesnt feel intimidated...and she s very gentle with smaller dogs :)


Ava and her sister Amber were found near a dumpster, in Puerto Rico. Ava is looking for a loving home with some space to run. She just wants to be loved and cared for.  She listens extremely well. I dont find it necessary to use a leash, but I do just in case.
